Drillstem Testing

HwzqB6hUb0C

Drillstem testing is a procedure for testing the reservoir pressure, permeability and productive capacity of a reservoir during the drilling process. The goal of a drillstem test is to evaluate the commercial viability of a reservoir zone’s economic potential by identifying various data points of the reservoir.

In addition, Kelanth Energy Solutions is also capable of drill stem tests in both open and cased hole environments.

If your goal is to unambiguously determine reservoir pressure, permeability, skin, and productivity, our downhole technologies reliably deliver the right answers

Project Value

Our drillstem testing services provides exploration teams with valuable information required to determining whether an exploratory well has discovered a commercial hydrocarbon reservoir by identifying the the productive capacity, pressure, permeability etc of the reservoir.

Project Timeline

We are committed to the delivery of perforation services to clients within specified time frames. Our expertise allows for clients to decide to execute a drillstem test for fluid recovery or reservoir data. The project time frame is dependent upon the choice by the client.

DST Data

Kelanth Energy Solutions drillstem testing obtains data on the following:

  • Fluid samples
  • Reservoir pressure
  • Formation properties (e.g. permeability etc.)
  • Productivity estimates (e.g flow rate etc.)
  • Hydrodynamic information
